Overview
KXPI-LD is a low-power station on channel 3, licensed to Pocatello, Idaho and part of the Idaho Falls-Pocatello, ID (Jackson, WY) TV market.
Viewers find it on channel 3. That is the virtual channel your TV displays; the signal itself goes out on RF channel 35, which is why a rescan sometimes matters. Its signal covers a smaller area than a full-power station's, so an antenna closer to the transmitter helps.
According to FCC records, the licensee is NPG of Idaho, Inc. The station is part of News-Press & Gazette Company. It first signed on in 2001. It has used the KXPI-LD call letters since January 2011.
