What the site is

NewsyAmerica is a directory of U.S. local news outlets: television stations, radio stations and newspapers. Listings are built from public records, such as the FCC’s licensing database, and from the outlets’ own websites. We work to keep them accurate, but records change and listings can be out of date. The site is provided for general information; check important details, such as channel numbers or subscription terms, with the outlet itself.

Reviews

Reviews are the opinions of the people who write them, not of NewsyAmerica. By posting a review you confirm that it reflects your own experience, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the site. Reviews must follow our review guidelines; we may decline or remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, deceptive or written by someone connected to the outlet. Outlets cannot pay to remove reviews or to be listed.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no automated scraping that burdens our servers, no attempts to break security, no fake or paid reviews, and no posting of other people’s personal information.

Trademarks and links

Station call signs, network names and newspaper titles belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Links to outlets’ websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content of other sites.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Beyond Tech Media is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the site or from reliance on its listings or reviews.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
