Overview
WFUN-LD is a low-power station on channel 48, licensed to Miami, Florida and part of the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, FL TV market.
Viewers find it on channel 48. That is the virtual channel your TV displays; the signal itself goes out on RF channel 20, which is why a rescan sometimes matters. It shares its broadcast channel with another station under an FCC channel-sharing arrangement. Its signal covers a smaller area than a full-power station's, so an antenna closer to the transmitter helps.
According to FCC records, the licensee is America Teve Holdings, Inc. WFUN-LD is owned by América CV Network. The current call sign has been in place since July 2009.
