Overview
WFLD is a FOX station licensed by the FCC to Chicago, Illinois, part of the Chicago, IL TV market.
Viewers find it on channel 32. That is the virtual channel your TV displays; the signal itself goes out on RF channel 31, which is why a rescan sometimes matters. The station's subchannels add Movies!, Buzzr, Roar and Fox Weather. WFLD also transmits in ATSC 3.0, the NextGen TV standard, which newer sets can receive. WFLD operates on a shared channel with another licensee, an arrangement the FCC allows.
