Overview
Licensed to Visalia, California, KNXT-LD is a low-power television station for viewers in the Fresno-Visalia, CA market.
Viewers find it on channel 53. That is the virtual channel your TV displays; the signal itself goes out on RF channel 22, which is why a rescan sometimes matters. It shares its broadcast channel with another station under an FCC channel-sharing arrangement. Low-power stations reach a smaller area than full-power ones, so reception depends on how close you are to its transmitter.
The FCC license is held by My Central Valley, LLC. The station dates back to 2000.
Schedules and local news are on its website, www.mytv53bakersfield.com.
